Opened on December 5th, 2020, Wat Khao Thabaek stands out as one of most renowned temples in Sriracha, featuring a remarkable 226-meter-long skywalk that provides 360-degree views of the nature that surrounds it. Crafted from glass tiles that are an impressive 2 tons thick and spanning 50 meters in both length and width, the bridge ensures a secure walking experience for even the biggest crowds. However, to maintain its pristine condition, the glass section can accommodate only up to 100 individuals at a time. In fact, cloth shoe covers are even provided for those crossing the glass bridge to ensure the tiles remain clean. This skywalk is an integral part of a larger sky bridge that stretches to connect Luang Pho Sothon Mountain to the site of the Luang Pho Sothon statue. To enjoy this unique bridge walk, a modest donation fee of 40 baht per person is requested for both Thai residents and international visitors alike.
